The Artist
As a young child diagnosed with dyslexia, learning was difficult. Throughout most of my early childhood, I dreaded school and; therefore, I often escaped my frustration with school by drawing and coloring. I am convinced these early formative years are when much of my appreciation for making art was born. Currently, as a professional artist, my work seeks to combine elements of realism, while maintaining a minimalistic approach throughout the process. My work conveys a sense of space and light, which helps to further a mood or mystery behind my work. The mystery I seek in creating art, is my search for the Divine in the world, which is best found through a childlike lens.
