Summer camp is about so much more than keeping kids busy. 🧡

At TAA, every day is an opportunity for campers to build confidence, strengthen social skills, practice teamwork, and learn how to navigate group settings in a fun, supportive environment.

With our fully indoor facility, kids stay active, engaged, and out of the summer heat while continuing to practice the routines that help them head back to school feeling confident and classroom ready.

The fun is what they remember. The growth is what lasts. 🧡

🕵️ Secret Agent Week was one for the books. 👑

This week, our campers created secret identities, collected evidence, cracked clues, built safe houses, completed agent training, interrogated suspects, and ultimately recovered the missing crowns and stolen jewels.

✨ Highlights from the week:
• Spy badges, fingerprints & code names
• Obstacle courses & fitness challenges
• Scavenger hunts & intelligence missions
• Safe house construction
• Suspect interrogations
• Target practice, blaster games & water balloon battles

The best part? Watching our staff go all in to create an experience the kids truly believe in. From daily briefings and mystery clues to playing suspects and helping campers solve the case, their creativity and energy turned an ordinary week into an unforgettable adventure.

And judging by the excitement on our agents’ faces when they finally cracked the case, we’d say the mission was a success. 💙

Today wasn’t just training, it was a commitment.

Before summer camp season begins, our entire team comes together for our annual staff summit: a day dedicated to learning, growing, and strengthening the skills that make The Adaptive Athlete what it is.

From coaching techniques and safety protocols to parent communication and team development, we invest in our staff so they can provide the best possible experience for every athlete and family we serve.

There were obstacle builds, breakout sessions, games, prizes, and plenty of opportunities for new and veteran coaches to learn from one another. Because great programs don’t happen by accident, they’re built by people who care enough to keep learning.

We’re proud of this team and excited for the season ahead. 🧡

Such a fun day at the Claremont Special Needs Resource Fair at Taylor Hall!

Some of our TAA team members had the opportunity to attend and represent our Adaptive Lab 🏅 the hub for all of our adaptive programs, from Sensory Connections to Independent Living Skills and more. It was so great seeing familiar faces and connecting with so many incredible organizations and businesses making a difference in our community.

We always love being part of events like this and connecting with others who share the same passion for inclusion and support. Grateful to be part of such an uplifting community! 🙌
