Rainbow Lorikeets: Shelter After the Storm is a textured tropical fine art piece by Nikoletta Ven, inspired by the emotional bond between two partners who survive the storm together and find shelter in a romantic island world surrounded by turquoise ocean waters.
The artwork features rainbow lorikeets — vivid, expressive parrots associated with color, movement and tropical energy. Their feathers rise above the surface of the painting in detailed relief, while the waves around them create a sense of motion, protection and transformation. This sculptural quality gives the piece the presence of 3D wall art, where the image is not only seen, but felt through texture, depth and light.
