JT has been bringing the biggest names in American bluegrass music to Titusville since 2007. ABOUT J.T.'S BLUEGRASS - J.T. Shealy has been bringing bluegrass to Brevard since 2007, but his roots in the American music form go back decades in the Carolinas. A bluegrass musician from a musical family, J.T. Shealy has performed with numerous bluegrass bands and knows what true aficionados want to hear

. Now a bluegrass promoter, J.T Shealy of J.T's Bluegrass is dedicated to "bringing the finest in bluegrass to Central Florida; promoting quality, acoustical, all-American music." Eight of the top 15 acts of 2014 named by Bluegrass Unlimited magazine have performed in Titusville for Shealy's audiences. Seating prices vary with venue and range from $21 to $26 per person. Venues are spacious, comfortable environments with excellent acoustics. “Why were we so against the jug?” Well we weren’t “against” it really but it’s just that we were a real band with real albums and gigs…and there was no “real life” jug anywhere to be found when we played our original songs out on the road!

So even though there is a prominent jug sound in that first Darlings episode (recorded by a stunt jugger with some clever water bottle usage!), we did ask the show to not insert that sound in subsequent episodes and they agreed.

Of course that was partly what Denver was known for by then so he got to keep pretending, but there is no jug sound in later episodes! Just a tremendous actor making us believe!
