Job description:
Envision Theater is seeking to hire an experienced director/choreographer to direct and choreograph one show at a day camp in the 5 Towns this summer.
Dates and Times:
Camp Dates: June 28-August 10
Mon-Thur: Rehearsals will take place between 1:30-3:30
Play is for grades 3-9
General Schedule:
June 28: Introduction to the musical by bunk
June 29: Auditions
Rehearsals: July 3, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 31,
Aug 1, 2, 3
Tech Week: Aug 7, 8, 9
Show: Aug 10
Responsibilities:
A qualified candidate will be able to to collaborate with the team (musical director, camp director, producer and assistant, art teacher-scenery) plan and facilitate a rehearsal calendar, be punctual, organized and flexible, plan and teach the blocking and choreography in a positive and engaging way, manage the camper/actors, organize/plan the costumes and props, and create a fun and positive environment.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years experience working with children as a director /choreographer. Have a degree in educational theater, theater, dance, dance education or related field.

Torah Academy of Bergen County student Eli performed as Holocaust survivor Trudy in TABC's annual theater project "Bare Witness." Trudy attended the show with her son and grandchildren and watched Eli share her story so that it won't be forgotten.

Torah Academy of Bergen County graduate and current Yeshiva College Dramatics Society president Rami Levin invited Mrs. Lopkin and current members of the TABC theater department Akiva Schild, Ohr Avishur, and Ilan Nissel to see YU’s production of “The Resistible Rise of Auturo Ui.” TABC alum Gedaliah Akselrod also performed and TABC and YU grad Aharon Nissel was in attendance.
Mrs. Lopkin remarked, “What a special evening to see both my former and current TABC theater students coming together to share a night of theater. I am so proud to see our graduates carrying on our tradition of theater excellence at YU!”

Two sold out performances of Envision Theater and BPY’s “The Music Man Jr.” Both epic performances had the audience on the edge of their seats! Congratulations to all involved in another phenomenal drama season at BPY! Broadway at BPY!
Fabulous! Bravo! Encore! After months of practice, the drama club was ready to perform Suessical Jr. on March 22, 2020! Tonight they sang and danced for us and it was worth the wait! A special tribute to the 8th graders who have spent 1000 hours since Third grade rehearsing and performing with BPY. The entire cast was out of this world!
