Biography: OG RiLOW, formally known as North Green Soulja, a father of two, music
artist, audio engineer, producer and graphic designer, has been on a wild
ride throughout his 30 years of living on earth. Growing up in the “Projects” located on North Green St. in Tupelo, Mississippi, Quintez (OG RiLOW®) has bee
n on a crazy journey in his lifetime. At the age of
seven he was first introduce to music when him an one of his family members where in the back room of his home. His mom was having friends over to play cards while him an his cousin were sitting in his room. Listening to an A-Track player, OG RiLOW came up with an idea to
record themselves talking at first. Rewinded the tape to see if the tape was
recordable an it was. So him an his cousin started trying to rap, keep in
mind OG RiLOW was only 7 years old at the time. So about after a hour
passed, OG RiLOW’s mom went in the back to where kids were an got the
tape player an played it in front of her friends, not knowing that they recorded on it and heard everything that was on the tape. She called
them to where they were an asked why we were cursing and then whoop them for it. Ironically this marks the beginning of something he and the world wasn’t ready for. The summer of 2003 he met The rap duo you may know as"Rae Sremmurd" moved to Tupelo, Ms The three of them went to Tupelo Middle School together. They used to all met up at Rae Sremmurd's mom house and
make songs and beats on a computer they purchase from Texas. That is when OG RiLOW was first introduced to FI Studio. Later came up the name Hitz Squad Beatz. Around 2006 he and a childhood friend Chedda Beezie(Markeese Gaston) created a group called Mississippi's Finest. They managed to
create a couple mixtapes his first one was titled "From Tha Brick 2 Tha
Stage." That sparked a buzz with a smash single "Buku Booty,” produced by Yung Nephu ( Tennessee Native). While only in middle school, OG RiLOW and Chedda was given the opportunity for their song to be played on 92 Jamz( a local radio station) by DJXTZ. Unfortunately, DJXTZ didn’t keep his word. So the two did some research and found another guy that Djs for the same radio station named D South. OG RiLOW reached out to him through email. Two days later OG RiLOW was at bible study where he attended White Hill, and received a call telling him to go listen to the radio. So he did and heard his song “Buku Booty” playing live. Couple months later he met a guy by the name of “MistaMaine” a member of Kuntry Boyz, an managed to create another song that got played on the radio called “Thunder Kat”. Mid 2007, OG RiLOW got in contact with a cousin of his by the name Tony Webber, CEO of HardTime Ent. At the age of 16, OG RiLOW, was presented with his first record label contract with HardTime Ent. Everyday and night you could catch them working on their crafts. Later in the year of 2007, OG RiLOW, discovered he Microsoft paint on his computer and he then began to learn how to make graphics. OG RiLOW stated “ Back in those days we didn’t have much help or guidance.” “We had to teach ourselves majority of everything.”
Between the years of 2008 - 2016, OG RiLOW managed release 23 mixtapes, and received 6 more radio placements.
2017, OG RiLOW, release his debut album titled “OG RiLOW.”
