❤️ Volunteers are the heart of Lyme Art Association.

Interested in getting involved? Hear what Lisa Miceli, one of our beloved volunteers, has to say about her experience:

I volunteer because I want to give back to LAA staff who are so committed to bringing art and art education to the community. This is a lifelong collaboration with dedicated staff who have been very supportive of my development as an artist and teacher here.

I believe the best way to give is to share what each of us has to offer with the LAA community. Doing watercolor demos at LAA events, Sea and Sky Soirée, and donating paintings to Palate to Palette are ways I give back through my art and teaching. Along with other volunteers, I also enjoy helping at opening receptions in any way I can, such as food service and cleanup, and this team effort allows LAA staff to keep events running smoothly.

Volunteers are essential to LAA and I will continue to help in whatever way I can in collaboration with the wonderful staff who bring joy, creativity and a cheerful welcome to all of us.
