SAVOR brings together award-winning chefs from coast to coast for an epicurean evening—all to benefit The Doorways.

SAVOR 2022 will take place on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at The Jefferson Hotel. Originally created in 2009 to celebrate the The Doorways’ 25th anniversary, SAVOR has grown into one of the most anticipated annual events in Richmond—a unique dining experience unlike any previously seen in Virginia. e Doorways, formerly Hospital Hospitality House. Guests are treated to a unique gourmet dining experience, silent and live auctions featuring fine wines, gracious home entertainment packages, dinners at top restaurants, and travel and sports options.

A lot has changed this year, but at The Doorways our mission has remained the same - to provide lodging and support for patients and their loved ones who need to be close to the hospital but not far from the feeling of "home".

A gift to The Doorways helps open doors for nearly 10,000 guests we see each year. We are so thankful to everyone who shows their support throughout the year, but as our fiscal year comes to a close there is still more to do! We can’t do it without your support. Consider a donation, volunteer with us or help provide meals to The Doorways this month.

Born and raised in Richmond, Dave Quisenberry embarked on a career that took him throughout Richmond, Boston and parts of Europe. Chef Quisenberry is currently working with several local special event venues as well as developing his new venture “Quizine.” We are so excited to have him at home for SAVOR 2019 as he prepares one of the main courses!
