Less than 24 hours until WOD Wars Kids! We have just a few last announcements so you guys are competition ready for tomorrow.

Come Hungry!!! There will be a full breakfast buffet available for all event guests who want to fuel up! Tickets will be sold seperately for $8.

Bring some cash!!! We will be holding a raffle for some cool swag from local businesses. One ticket for $2 or 3 for $5. Stop by to see all of the cool stuff you could enter to win! All proceeds go to Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

PARKING INFORMATION

WOD Wars: Kids Edition is set for this Saturday at:

Winter's Dolphin Tale Adventure
300 Cleveland Street
Clearwater, FL 33756

Check In starts at 730AM, so please arrive with enough time to check in before the start of the event at 8AM. All parents/guardians will need to check in and sign a waiver before the start of the event.

Parking will be free. Below is a map highlighting the designated parking area in green. The lot will be accessible from Cleveland Street. Once parked, you can make your way up the hill and enter through the north side of WDTA, highlighted with the blue arrow. The north parking lot will be closed and reserved for the event, highlighted by the orange box.

Here is the standards video for Event 3, "Shuttle Shoot," for this weekend's WOD Wars Kids competition!

7 Min AMRAP

10/20 Squats (10 for 7-9 years old + 20 for 10-13 years old)
5 Shuttle Runs ( Down + Back = 1 Rep)
1 Shot to Target

For the squats, children will need to break parallel in their squat, and fully extend their hips and knees at the top of each rep.

For the shuttle runs, children need to tap the ground with one hand on the other side of the lane, at each turn. Down + back = 1 rep.

Children get one bean bag toss at the end of each round for the chance at an extra rep.

WOD WARS: Kids Edition Heat Schedule

Below is the attached heat schedule for next Saturday. Each child has a scheduled time for Event 1 and Event 3. Remember that there will be a floater, the inflatable velcro obstacle course, that children must complete anytime between 8-10 AM for their Event 2 score.

**Check in begins at 730AM. Children and their parent/guardian must complete check in before the start of the event. Opening announcements will begin at 8AM, and the first heat will begin at 820AM. There will be an assigned staging area where children will need to report to at least 5 minutes before the start of their heat.

There are plenty of things to do at Winter's Dolphin Tale Adventure for children and adults alike!. In between events, children can play the games which are set up inside of the venue or complete the floater event.There is also an interactive Hurricane Experience on-site that you can check out, as well as more activities TBA.

New details on Event 2 "The Inflatable Floater!" The inflatable obstacle course will be available from 8AM-10AM for athletes to complete for a score. The only catch is that athletes will be wearing a Velcro suit!! The course is lined with Velcro and the suit will pull, tug and challenge them to get through! Judges will be available to assist in suiting up and will submit the athletes time upon completion. We can't wait to see the kids on our "Inflatable Floater!"

Just a heads up, we will be combining the 10-11 and the 12-13 divisions due to lack of interest for the 12-13 division. Therefore, we will have an age 7-9 division and a 10-13 division on event day. We are working on the heat schedule and will release times/heats in the next week! 👍🏼
