It's been a while since I have had any Mystery Collection news. If you don't already, check out Birdie's Cabaret Theater & Lounge. That is where most of my attention has gone for the last year. But, I am getting back out into the world with The Mystery Collection show this year. I will be performing at Birdies on June 5th and in Baltimore at the amazing Poe's Magic Theater on August 21st and 22nd. Stat tuned for details.

We had a ton of really positive feedback about our fundraiser this weekend, but… we also lost some friends, some page followers and some performers. It sucks, but, I get it… it’s all part of the deal. What’s the old saying? You gotta stand for something or you’ll fall for anything!

This Saturday night at Birdies Cabaret Theater & Lounge, The Mystery Collection presents my show, An Evening of Intimate Mystery and Illusion. I’m breaking out some stuff that has not been performed since my regular shows in New Orleans and a couple brand new pieces that I am very excited about. I’m also so happy to be joined on stage by my dear friend Joey in his very first Central Arkansas appearance! A new venue for a wide variety of entertainment from comedy and magic to music and burlesque will be coming to North Little Rock.

Birdie’s Cabaret Theater and Lounge will open at 301 Main Street in the heart of the Argenta Arts District on June 1st courtesy of a pair of local entrepreneurs and entertainers.

The ownership group, consisting of master magicians Paul Noffsinger and Paul Prater, have performed magic, comedy and held workshops on each subject around the world.

Also during their careers, Noffsinger was one of the founding owners of the New Orleans Vampire Cafe and partner in a Great American Beer Festival gold medal-winning brewery in Colorado.

In addition to being a magician and the drummer in heavy metal band Direwolf, Prater has also hosted the Argenta Ghost Tours for a decade, conducted seances and written multiple books about his craft.

Named after the madame at a brothel in Argenta, Birdie’s promises to host world class acts in every form of entertainment that you can possibly see on stage.

COLORADO FRIENDS!!!! This has been in the works for a while and I am so glad I can finally post about it. I’ll be back in Greeley at The Moxi Theater on Friday February 28th with my dear friends Rob Walker , Ryan Doughtery and Joey Gschwind . I have done three shows at the Moxi and they have all sold out. I’m certain this one will too. Tickets should be available very soon. Check back for ticket information.
