We are absolutely thrilled to introduce the incredible Honorary Chairs for Hooray for Englewood: Havana Nights, Terry & Betty Snapp and Steve & Joan Israelite! 🌟
These two dynamic duos have been the heart and soul of so many community triumphs, and we wouldn't be where we are today without their vision, dedication, and endless support. Here is a little glimpse into why we love them so much!
💙Terry and Betty Snapp have spent over 50 years serving the Independence community. Terry is a passionate advocate for our neighborhood and actually served as Englewood Arts’ founding board president, helping shape our vision and guide us through our major building renovation! Meanwhile, Betty has spent decades as a regional leader advocating for children with developmental disabilities. Together, they even founded a neighborhood meal program , and they are affectionately known on their block as the "cookie house"! 🍪✨
❤️ Steve and Joan have long been legendary champions of the arts, education, and community connection across the Kansas City region. As early believers in Englewood Arts, they invested deeply in our mission. They have spent countless hours introducing artists, community leaders, and donors to our project over lunches, tours, and heartfelt conversations. Their advocacy helped establish the critical momentum that brought our community arts center to life! 🎨🏢
