WVWC is officially closed for the day (02/18/2021) due to poor weather conditions.

All classes at WVWC will be virtual until 12:00pm today, Campus offices will open at 10:00am.

Upshur County schools are fully remote learning for the day.

West Virginia Wesleyan College will be closed today (02/16/2021) until 10:00am with classes virtual until noon. Classes plan to be in person after 12:00, but the college will determine the conditions at that time. Faculty should prepare to arrive no earlier than 10:00am (with exception to snow/ice removers).

There is no update with Upshur County schools being closed or put on delay.

Looks like Queen Elsa visited Buckhannon, WV this morning with an extreme amount of Ice hitting the area! The cold never bothered her anyway!

West Virginia Wesleyan College is currently set to open at 9:00am to give time for preparation. All 8:00am classes are moved to virtual.

Most highways are clear, but private lots tend to be very icy. Use extreme caution when going out.

Upshur County schools are Closed and fully remote for staff and students.

Snow... snow... and more snow for Buckhannon today with a high of 30° and a low of 25°!

This upcoming week we are expecting a 70% chance of even more snow from Monday through Saturday with temperatures remaining in the 30s.
