Race Day week #7! Final week Evergreen Speedway for the flat track series in the dirt! Kendra has done such a great job running quarter midgets for the first time ever! Kayann ran go kart for a few weeks! It's been so much fun!!!!!

Dangerous Curves Racing is super excited to announce we have a new sponsor for the 38 Hornet car for the 2024 race season! Welcome aboard Reynolds Trading Company!!! We have been dealing with the owner Doug for more than 10 years. Over the years we have replaced almost every appliance in our house. Now they sell furniture and mattresses as well.

We will have a brand new car on the track for the 2024 season and we're hoping to make a run at the championship this year. We race at Evergreen Speedway and our races are aired on The CW 11 on Sunday evenings from 5-7pm. Come see us at the track or at least check us out on TV.

As for the 51 car of Kayann Spear (13 y/o) Mrs. Turner's Hometown Cafe' will remain on hood. Mrs Turner's Hometown Cafe has sponsored Kayann the last couple years and with the changes we are making to her car this off season, she should be much more competitive in 2024!

This girl took a 2nd place B main finish on the 4th! Her awesome sponsors came and got to watch her race AND podium! Thank you James & Starla Mrs. Turner's Hometown Cafe' for coming to watch Kayann Race! It was a super awesome weekend! She was racing and pushing herself it was seriously THE best!!!!! Thanks to all our race families that help us each week and to Jeff Harris Evergreen Speedway Photographs for always getting awesome pics of our daughter INCLUDING her podium photo! Thanks to our race fans! We had a local Turner's cruise in customer congratulate Kayann on her3 finish and it is literally just so cool to see how far the reach of fans is. We appreciate you all! We're getting excited for our NEXT race!!!!!

I have GoPros attached to Kayann's car one rear cam and one front cam. This is why. #11 hits Kayann and spins her out. Felt intentional but without his cam footage honestly no idea. However I personally felt like the #18 got into Kayann and could have lifted to not hit her. Again as I was NOT in that car idk, could have just not had time. However the #18 had cam footage too and it looks like Kayann drove down into #18's line. So my opinion was wrong. In the heat of the moment without any cam footage all you want to do is say i know what happened and i know it wasn't my fault. But now we can be informed and say well we have some learning to do here to not come down if you dont have room. Its hard because Kayann really cant see out of that side super well. So we need to learn use our mirrors better. Cameras are SUPER important because it shows what happened. Especially when you can get BOTH angles! I am glad that I got to see the perspective from both driver cams. I wish we had footage from the #11 getting into her because maybe it would help us understand why he got into her. But sometimes we can't have every angle. This does help Kayann to know for sure IF she did something wrong and IF she didn't do anything at all. We are learning over here! So it makes for great discussion and great learning! We are super proud of our girl! We are also super thankful to our sponsors! Yay Mrs. Turner's Hometown Cafe' for getting an on TV shout out! So cool! They are also on the hood of the car! Also cool for Dangerous Curves Photography to get it's logo from the back deck of the car on TV! Also thank you to BrandyHood Promotions for all your hardwork with all the footage you get! We appreciate you using our footage and posting all the footage you get each week!
