Dollop creative Artist + Designer in Corvallis OR dollop Art LLC is the freelance graphic design and illustration business of Katie Johnson. Located in West Seattle.

Katie studied painting at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver BC Canada and later received her BFA in Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Portland. Aptly named "dollop" for the many mediums in which Katie works: Adobe CS6, Pyrography (wood burning), Acrylic Paint, Pen + Pencil, Resin Toy Design, Lapel Pin & Jewelry Design...a little bit of everything. She believes life is too sh

ort to stick to just one medium. May as well try something new! Her go-to medium has been acrylic paint and pen. That is, until she discovered pyrography. Switching from pen to a hot tipped wood burning tool felt like a natural transition...and adds a much appreciated tactile quality to her designs.

​The industrial aspect of the lazer cut wood mixed with the hand crafted quality of her work has a grounded yet modern aesthetic. Each piece is a personal expression. Enjoy a dab of art at dollop!
