Thanks a ton to student orgs from other universities who collaborated with us on multiple events throughout this difficult year (Look out for our Year Review post soon). Come join us for an interactive evening where we can talk openly about mental and emotional health! Zoom fatigue is real, but if you yearn to connect with other amazing people, please come join us--you won't regret it! We will be having some intentional conversations which remind us that we are not alone and each of us has the power to end the stigma and taboo around this topic.
All attendees will enter a raffle for exciting giveaways.

Facilitator Bio: Yasmin Irfani is a Pakistani Muslim American who is passionate about having open conversations about emotional and mental wellness, especially within the South Asian community. She received her M.S in College Counseling & Student Services from Cal State Northridge in 2019 & her B.A in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara. She is currently serving as the Youth Programs Director at the National Alliance on Mental Illness-San Fernando Valley (NAMI-SFV). She is a Mental Health First Aid Instructor as well as a QPR Su***de Prevention Instructor.

Wishes everyone a very happy Holi.
Holi is the Hindu festival of colors which celebrates the beginning of Spring. Playing with colors during Holi is one of the most iconic South-Asian scenes in the US and has become a an important celebration for the south asian diaspora all around the world.
Look out for a Holi special IASB event in the next few weeks.

In a normal year, Holi is our student group's biggest and the most important event of the year, and we hope to host an in-person Holi in 2022.

Superlatives from Mehfil @ UCSB 2021. Thanks a lot for attending this event and making it a success. We had close to 500 people watching the live streams on various platforms.

And.. it's a wrap. Our very first South Asian A Capella competition with , and taking the top honors.
All the performances were wonderful and we as a group were fortunate to able to host you all "virtually" this year.
Thanks a lot , , , , for being a part of this event.
While the tech glitches on the livestream sometimes overshadowed the awesomeness of your performances, we are looking forward to hosting the competition in-person in 2022.

Thanks to and for giving our student group an opportunity to host an A3 bid comp. this year.
