Paper Falcon is taking flight!

We are headed to Washington!

I and my partner are both trans men who live in Deep East Texas. As anti trans legislation and sentiment grows we have made the very difficult decision to relocate to Washington for our safety and well being.

I am disabled from an autoimmune disease and since my last position in my career field ended in June I have been unable to find employment here due to discrimination for being visibly trans and q***r. I'm also facing increasing barriers and difficulties getting access to the healthcare that is necessary to manage my autoimmune disease.

I've ran a community outreach for the last year and a half here called Q***r Craft Club where once a month I host a free craft day where folks can come together and create community and q***r joy as resistance

I'll be doing a mini pop up Timberland Unitarian Universalist Fellowship - TUUF as part of Q***r Craft Club goodbye party! Q***r Craft Club will continue with my support from afar with folks stepping in as hosts

We also have a go fund me to help with our moving costs if you could please donate or share. Every share helps!

We're only two weeks away from our Fall Rainbow Market & Wellness Fair, and registration closes this week!!

When: Sept 12th 10AM-3PM
Where: Parry's Pizza Parking Lot
What: We will have local vendors, wellness resources, a drag show, and Parry's will be doing a dine-in give back!!

We are looking for vendors, wellness providers, non-profits, and drink/dessert trucks.
