For those who know me, you know that I don't create plushes (amigurumi) very often. I much prefer to create jackets, shorts, and other such clothing items and wearables. When a mom approached me about making a replacement piece for her son who's original plush was stolen at a park one day, I just couldn't say no. Was this the largest plush I'd ever attempted to make? Yep! Was I intimidated? Absolutely! I was determined to make it work however and a week later, Courage the Cowardly Dog was back. According to her, he absolutely loves it! I'd call that a win. :D
On the plus side, this project was more good practice for me with creating appliqués and attaching them along with creating my first weighted plush. (The spots on his back and eyes)
