ACA Level 1-2 Coastal Kayaking Instructor Certification Workshop (ICW) for Coastal Kayakers who wish to advance to L-2 certification.
The four day Instructor Certification Workshop is intended to train and prepare you to become an ACA certified instructor. This workshop focuses on the Paddling Skills, Instructional Techniques, Rescues and Group Management necessary to safely teach coastal kayaking to groups of beginners. Instructor candidates must be ACA members. Instructor certification requires successful completion of the ICW and membership in the Safety, Education and Instruction Council of the ACA.
Dates Saturday, March 3- Tuesday March 6
Instructors include:
ITE Dale Williams
IT Ashley Brown
The Course will be held in Tybee Island GA.
Cost for the ICW is $425 for the four day course.
