Hi everyone! This is the wife of the devoted creator of Cambridge Asylum, Tammy. I absolutely love hearing your reactions when you come back out of the asylum. Unfortunately, my husband Douglas James does not get to experience your feedback live like I do.

I think it would be awesome for anyone who comes to the haunt, if they could record a video their reactions right afterwards and post it to this page so he can reap the joys of his hard work and dedication. This will not only make Doug happy but also for our awesome volunteer scare actors who give up their precious time to run Cambridge Asylum with us.

I hope everyone has an awesome weekend and can’t wait to see yall tonight at the check in desk! Thank you for coming out and for supporting our cause.

Would anyone here be interested or know anyone interested in being an actor for the Cambridge Asylum (568 Cambridge Rd Turnersville, NJ 08012) for the remainder of our season, and potentially future seasons? This would be volunteer/unpaid as we don't keep any of the donations received. We can offer Pizza during and potentially some Asylum 'swag' after the season.

Criteria would be as follows:
1) Age 15+ (we would need to speak w/parents if under 18)
2) Demonstrate/maintain maturity/follow directions
3) Tolerant of dim lighting, flashing lights, loud noises/bangs
4) Stand/operate/move around an area/scare station for several hrs.
5) Wear dark clothing and/or a costume (masks can be provided)
6) Arrive ~30 mins before we start on the day you signed up for
7) Refrain from cellphone/electronic usage while acting
