Art Around Town, Turlock

Art Around Town, Turlock Art Around Town is a quarterly event to promote cultural life in Downtown Turlock. 7 galleries and other businesses will host art & music.

Art Around Town is a concept developed by a committee of art enthusiasts and supporters to highlight the exciting things happening in arts and culture in Downtown Turlock. This series of evening art walks will feature free, family-friendly events at a variety of Downtown arts venues and businesses. The overall goal of Art Around Town is to familiarize the community with local artists and galleries

, but also to promote the flourishing and diverse Downtown Turlock business and culture scene. Attendees of the art walk may stroll between several art galleries located on and near Main Street to view and purchase art, while browsing local businesses that choose to include local artists or musicians at their stores on event nights. Art Around Town will take place on the second Thursdays of February, May, August and November in 2017, from 6-9 p.m. Participating businesses will be found on the Art Around Town page and on a map/event guide that can be picked up at any of the venues.

Join us this Thursday, 2/5 from 5-8pm for the first Art Around Town of 2026 and reception for our current Lobby exhibition, “On the Edge: Abstraction at Work”.

Art Around Town is a free event that takes place on the first Thursday of the month of February, May, August & November from 5-8pm.

Participating businesses include Carnegie Arts Center, Colossal Tattoo, Gallery Finesse, Paper Moon Stationery & Art Supply, The Pink Duck Art Gallery, Rustic Roots, and Stan State Art Space.
