“I’ll just whip this up real quick…” Famous last words.

Only took hours and hours… 😂

I’ll be bringing this along with some other goodies to Fort Muncy Garden Center tomorrow, Sunday the 13th, from 10–4!

The event is being held at their new location, so come check out all of the vendors, do some shopping, and take a look at the garden center’s beautiful new grounds!

I'll be taking these adorable Halloween glow-in-the-dark resin keychains and bottle stoppers to the new Fort Muncy Garden Center location this Sunday the 13th 🙂. The weather looks good and there's nothing better than a combination of crafts and beautiful plants. I might actually lose money on this one if I'm not careful 😬 (I love gardening/plants). Come out and say hi!

Five weeks in with a booth at a massive indoor vendor market, here's what has sold—and what hasn't…

What's selling?

Mostly holiday decor, which honestly surprised me a little. A large decorative pumpkin sold, along with a Santa figurine and some red and green glass bells that I think will make beautiful Christmas decorations for someone.

I'm a little surprised that Christmas items are already selling in September. Although, maybe that shouldn't surprise me at all! 😂 Apparently, people are much more organized about their holiday decorating than I am.

I typically fight on a daily basis to remove clutter from my own home—not add to it. 😅 So I don't usually buy decorations for myself… I buy decorations for other people's homes. 😂

One beeswax candle has also sold—a pumpkin spice scent. Beeswax candles can be a little bit of a stretch for some people because beeswax is more expensive, which makes the finished candle more expensive than candles made with other types of wax. But I think there's something really special about a beautiful beeswax candle.

And one really nice mid-century modern chair has sold.

What's NOT selling?

Well… apparently my paintings and pictures. 😂

Not a single one has sold.

And, surprisingly, not a single cold-process Castile soap bar has sold either. That one actually surprised me a little bit!

My prices range from just a few dollars all the way into the hundreds, so there's quite a variety of price points in my space.

Five weeks isn't nearly enough time to draw any big conclusions, but I'm definitely starting to learn a few things about what catches people's attention.

And that's probably one of the most interesting parts of doing this—figuring out what people love as much as I do.

I'll keep experimenting, adding new things, and seeing what happens. 😊
