I’m new to the Practical Magic train, having watched it for the first time last year, but it hit so hard and so good. Getting to see the second one with my girl Jenny Vandy was the best way and on the big screen felt so 90s perfect. 💕

It’s not the next award winning film if you want to nitpick- but it was everything perfectly nostalgic and will be another “-Ber” staple 🥰

So here’s the deal - passed a certification at work. They land you with a nice lil bonus. And I sunk the majority of that into seeing my favorite female artist LIVE and in style with a VIP pkg.

Got to meet her, give her a lyric bracelet (which she wore through the VIP experience-yes I’ve died 🤩), the Q&A was awesome, she’s so sweet and adorable! The mini set she did of old songs was lit, we got four: BETTER, Salvador Dali, Underdogs and F***y Pack. There was maybe 25 of us so it was intimate and unassuming. Once doors opened, I planted at barricade and was 100% ready for the music to hit. phem was awesome, never heard of her but enjoyed her energy and she promo’d a new song that was fire. Then Royal & the Serpent began and while I already loved the album, the journey she took us on through the music and her story telling was just epic and cyberpunky and all around genius.

We did a mini trip as the show was in Tucson so J n I didn’t have to turn and burn which was very nice.

Her music has gotten me through a lot in recent years so I will never forget this night and the magic she afforded us all.

Went to the Goth Market this weekend and got to spend the day with some of my favorite people!!! We tried a new to us food joint that was AMAZING - has the best popper and cubano flavors we’ve ever had 🥰 Also got these EPIC earrings from - was our first time at this event and we had a blast. ⚔️🦇🥀

Last selfie- letting the hair out of the pony felt soooo good 🤣🤣🤣 Also almost didn’t get any photos cause we were all just in the moment the whole afternoon - so magical ✨

Found a beautiful small set of antique china at Goodwill while hunting tea cups for a birthday!!! I don’t thrift as much as I’d like and rarely make a super find. I deep dived on this china and maker and it was such a fun rabbit hole to fall down!

The history of dates to 1876, when Japanese businessman Ichizaemon Morimura and his brother Toyo opened Morimura Brothers in New York City. They ended up making French inspired china to compete with the European market in America and eventually came to be known as Noritake Co. in the 1980s. (From Akiba Galleries Blog)

They’re not worth much monetarily but to know they, at their youngest, if I researched correctly, are celebrating their centennial this year just made this birthday that much cooler ✨
