The time is almost here for our annual Sip N Stroll! Head on over to Tucker Nature Preserve this Saturday, April 18. From 3 to 5 p.m. you can enjoy wine from Wine & Whimseys and charcuterie from A Bite of Delite while exploring the wildflower meadow to the sound of live music. Local experts from Sneaky Bee Backyard Honey will be sharing their craft and delicious honey will be able for purchase. We look forward to seeing you for a refreshing spring afternoon at 4408 Lawrenceville Highway.

Important Notes:
- You will need to bring a valid ID for wine service.
- Parking will be available at the Walmart parking lot across from Tucker Nature Preserve, and you will cross the street to enter the event.

Sound on! For whatever reason, it seems like this poor queen bee is being rejected by her colony. In the first clip, you can see how aggressively they’re acting towards her, and in the second clip, she’s buried underneath a pile of worker bees, desperately “piping”…that high pitched beeping noise you hear repeatedly. There’s a supersedure cell (a baby queen) about to hatch on another frame, which could explain why her workers have turned on her. If my spidey senses are correct, the bees are hoping for a change in leadership, which spells bad news for this mother queen. Unfortunately, I predict she’ll become a victim of “balling,” where the workers pile on top of her, heating or suffocating her to death. It’s brutal, but hey, a colony’s gotta surv-hive.
