One last introduction to make! CTC’s founder and your camp director, Mrs. Emily!

I started performing at age 3 and knew from the beginning that the theatre was the place for me. I attended Cedarville University where I earned a BA in Theatre Performance. During college I realized that, as much as I love being on stage (which is a lot!) I love giving young performers the spotlight even more!
Creo is the realization of a decade long dream to build a space where young performers can receive excellent theatre training, be encouraged and championed, build lifelong friendships, and most importantly be pointed toward Christ and honor God with the talents he has given them!

I am SO excited to meet each and every one of you joining us for theatre camp!! We are going to have so much fun learning, growing, and dreaming big together!

Round of applause for Lisa, your Peter Pan Assistant Director 👏👏👏

My name is Lisa Lin and I’m from Dayton Ohio, currently studying Musical Theatre at Taylor University in Indiana. I have experience both onstage and behind the scenes through carpentry, props, puppetry, and stage management in college productions. Two of my onstage credits include: Anya in Anastasia and Mama Bear, Rat Tapper, Teen Fiona, and Dragon Puppeteer in Shrek the Musical. I’ve trained in NYC at the Open Jar Intensive with Broadway professionals and taught at a one week theatre summer camp in 2025. I quickly discovered how much I love helping kids grow in confidence, creativity, and teamwork through the theatre, making me eager to return and teach again this summer.

🎉Time to say hello to Mrs. Jamie, your Come Alive Vocal Director! 🎉
Jamie Rambeck spent her youth dancing at the Dayton Ballet School and singing at church. After high school, she performed with Ballet Magnificat!, attended Bible College, where she joined the drama and praise teams, and did mission work overseas. She landed her dream job when she got married and had seven children. She has directed musicals and plays for years with their local Christian homeschool drama group, Wholesome Life Productions. She loves singing and can’t wait to be part of Come Alive!

SAY HELLO to Noah Rutkowski, our choreographer for Come Alive!

Noah’s passion for the performing arts began at a young age and has continued to shape his journey as both a dancer and choreographer. He has studied a wide variety of styles, including Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Tap, Jazz, and Contemporary. His extensive training and performance experience have allowed him to compete and perform across the United States, including opportunities to perform aboard a cruise ship.

Known for his strong stage presence, creativity, and versatility, Noah is passionate about using movement to tell stories and connect with audiences. This fall, he will continue pursuing his artistic goals at The Ohio State University, where he plans to further grow as a dancer, choreographer, and performer.

In addition to dance, Noah has been involved in theatre since the age of eight, studying acting and performing in numerous productions throughout the Dayton area. He has previously collaborated with Creo Theatre Founder and Director Emily Gilman on productions at Troy Christian High School, where he portrayed one of his favorite roles, Bert, in Mary Poppins. Noah is honored and excited for every opportunity to continue sharing his passion, artistry, and love for performance with others.

🥁INTRODUCING your Peter Pan Vocal Director: Mackenzie Kennon!

Mackenzie began performing in choir, band and musical theater as a child. She went on to attend Wright State University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education-Voice in 2018. While in school, she performed in various opera performances, Women’s Chorale, and University Chorus. Additionally, she spent 5 years in the university’s top choral ensemble, Collegiate Chorale, where she had opportunities to perform locally, nationally and abroad. Mackenzie previously taught General Music in grades 2-5, and 6th grade choir at Monroe Local Schools, 7-12 grade Choir at Troy Christian Schools, and currently instructs voice lessons for all ages at Star City Music Studios in Miamisburg, Ohio. She lives in Miamisburg with her husband Larry, daughter Neely and pet cat, Zildjian.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the theatre moms! The ones who make sure costumes fit and every hair is in place, the ones who make sure we sleep and eat during tech week, the ones who hold us through the disappointments and cheer loudest in the victories, the ones who get a little teary when we take our bow because they know every moment that lead there.
