It's been a long time since I have posted anything here. Thanks to Abbe Effron we have something new! This is an article on the ML bench from the 08108 Collingswood magazine from May 2023. I wanted to make this post a few days back, but the anniversary of the Bench Dedication coincided with a very large festival at the historic site where I work. Not only did I have no time for posting, we have very dicey connections at the Johnston House and there is no wi-fi installed.

Anyhow, I wanted to take a moment to remember what Sonya, Jessie, I, and YOU achieved. There is a bench sitting in Collingswood, NJ in honor of Eugene Orowitz or Michael Landon. It is there to evoke questions, responses, thoughts, prayers and memories of a great man no longer with us. We three Mike-a-teers could NOT have done this without all of you. I hope each and every one of you has a chance to take a trip to Collingswood to sit on the bench and reflect and take pride in what you accomplished!

I wanted to let the three overseas donors who requested Dedication Day packets to know that they will FINALLY be in the mail tomorrow. I had to get Air Mail stamps and finding time during the summer season at the site was just impossible.

I am working on getting the Dedication Day packets shipped this week. Again, I apologize for the delay but I have had no help getting these done during a very busy season for me.

I have a few addresses I want to double check before shipping. Would Michele Flower-Cooke, Lynne Coulson, and whoever lives at 20 Clarendon Crescent Sale in England PM me as soon as possible to confirm details?

I finally found a moment in my crazy summer schedule to get the dedication programs in envelopes. Now all I have to do is get them addressed and shipped! Hopefully it won't be too long! Thank you again for your patience. I have a new boss at work and he's great at delegating, which means I have a lot more work! 😳😁

Just read the article in the 08108 magazine re: the bench. My husband and I grew up in Collingswood and are now in Haddon Twp. We had our family pictures taken at Newton Lake Park and my son ran over to this bench and did this - just taking a moment to day dream!💕

Ginger has been working on this for several weeks now and we cannot thank her enough for giving her time and talent to create it.
