A lot of times my customers will tell me that the things I make are too beautiful to use. I just wanted to show an example of a piece that I made that I think is beautiful, and we have used it well for several months.

I kept this small board because it has a big crack. We have not used it for charcuterie, but it has been a quick grab cutting board now for about 6 months. You can see the cut marks in the surface of the wood.

As long as you're not using a sharp blade directly on the burned image, these pieces are fairly durable and with care will last a long, long time.

It's okay for the things we use everyday to also be beautiful.
