Opening tomorrow, the BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport and the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County are featuring artists of Muddy Creek Artists Guild for their newest Exhibit!

It is located between Concourse C&D in departures (pre-security) at BWI Airport, this exhibit will be showing from August 3 thru November 30, 2026.

Title: The Girls

Mitzi says: “Created as a one-of-a-kind commission, this 36"x36" collage was presented by a husband to his wife on her 60th birthday. The image is of her two dogs, "The Girls" Lillian and Deliah. Within their images are a multitude of stories of her life. There are excerpts from some of the books and blogs she has written. For example, each blade of grass has the name of one of her blogs. Dogs Whispering in the background is also one of her blogs. Included are images of their wedding, her awards, dogs, hikes, their boat, her bicycling and hiking, and many of her family and friends.

It was truly my pleasure to tell the wonderful stories of a life well-lived life.” .
