We find ourselves grieving again at the senseless deaths of young people due to a person with a gun. Especially poignant for me due to my daughter being a teacher. All school classrooms must have a way to quickly cover the window on the door. I made a cover for my daughter years ago. Several of her coworkers have requested coverings. I pray to God that these coverings never witness violence.

My daughter works and my grandsons have a very different school experience thank I did. I went to school during the Cold War. We had to practice getting under our desks to protect ourselves from nuclear war. (never did buy into that) My daughter and boys have to be ready for lock down situations. To that end, my daughter asked me to create a window shade for her classroom door. Her teacher-friends ask that I make them some shades. If you are a teacher, or know a teacher, please message me. They are $20.00 each and I can make just about any theme or color you like.

I have found a channel on YouTube that I really like. I LOVE to treasure hunt. Be it hinting for Sea Glass...or Mining Rubies.. I just love the thrill of finding items I find value in. Watching The Scottish Detectorist, I get to hunt vicariously. The owner of the channel, John MacEachen keeps it G rated, so I can watch with the grandsons. So....I found my own Hammered Coin!!
