Riptide Film Festival 2026 Final Deadline is almost here!

This is your last chance to get your film on a real big screen, in a real theater, in front of a real audience.

Late Deadline: July 11

We’re looking for South Bay filmmakers ready to show their work the way it was meant to be experienced.

Riptide Film Festival 2026 submissions are still open!

📆Extended Deadline: June 21
📆Final Deadline: July 11

This is for Southern California filmmakers who want their work seen the way it was meant to be experienced on a big screen, in a real theater, with a real audience.

Selected filmmakers will be recognized and awarded during the awards ceremony at the end of the night.

3 changes from last year’s Riptide Film Festival

Another year, same mission.

The Riptide Film Festival is becoming more connected, more filmmaker-focused, and more immersive from the moment you walk into the theater.

1.) Mixed screening blocks for a stronger audience + networking experience

2.) Filmmaker interviews before each screening block

3.) Officially part of the Torrance Cultural Arts Foundation season lineup

And somehow… tickets still didn’t go up.

$40 VIP

Just adding new features wasn’t what mattered most to us this year. 😉

The room feels bigger this year.
