So many of us grew up hearing or watching the story of “Peter Pan” but do you know how it really began? Peter Pan was originally called “Boy” a no name, friendless boy living in at St. Norbert’s Orphanage for Young Boys in London, England under the Headmaster, Mr. Grempkin. The orphans were not fed well and lived in horrible conditions. In order for the boys to pass time and forget about their troubles in the orphanage, they used their imaginations and created stories that they made up into plays. They created the sets, props and costumes out of items they found lying around the grounds. This is where our story of “Peter and the Star Catcher” begins. Imagine an old building where the boys have made a stage and performed their story of a boy with no name, a sweet girl coming of age, treasure ships, pirates and mermaids!
