Last week we took 15 amazing BFTUHS Dancers to represent Tolleson at the Tucson International Mariachi Conference! 💃🏻🕺🏻
We attended Folklorico workshops where we learned two fun dances and skills to bring back to our group.
We also participated in the Student Showcase where we put on an awesome presentation of El Canelo, La Charreada, and ending with an entertaining El Toro Mambo! 🐂 The audience loved it! 👏🏻👏🏻
Before departing, we presented at the Fiesta de Garibaldi in Downtown Tucson where we featured a few of our favorite dances from our program.
This was a great experience for our students, who represented T-Town with pride! We are so proud of them, and hope they cherish the memories and friendships made forever! ❤️
Looking forward to sharing all of our experiences with our hometown. 👏🏻

We had a great performance today at Bay State Milling Co. in Tolleson.
Some of the audience consisted of visitors from the East Coast who hadn’t experienced our form of dance before. We truly enjoyed sharing our culture with them! 💃🏻🕺🏻
