Hey, how’s it going everybody! 🌟

We’ve been a little quiet lately, so we wanted to touch base on some things and also remain transparent with our community. For a few months now we have been continuously dealing with water leaks into our gallery that have not been properly repaired, over and over again - causing us to be unable to safely host events or use the space. Managing this under the terms of what some would call a total “slumlord” has been a disappointing and frustrating situation, to say the least. This has been an issue many times before, and we have came to terms with the fact that it’s not going to ever truly be fixed, or properly taken care of to a point that matches the vision we have for a public gallery space.

This will more than likely be our last year in this space on Main St., unfortunately. However, we absolutely plan to continue our vision to something new, when the time comes! We aren’t going anywhere. 🙌

We also want to use the opportunity to happily announce that we will in fact be organizing and throwing the 2nd annual River East Mural & Arts Festival later this summer! Stay tuned for announcements & dates! 🎉

We can’t thank you all enough for the love and support you’ve shown us! Cheers, and see you all soon! 🙏

Hey everyone! we're teaming up with The Arts Commission next week to host an Artist Mixer and give fellow artist a chance to connect and learn about funding opportunities!

We'll share what The Arts Commission’s Artist Services team has planned for 2025, and hear from River East Gallery about upcoming exhibitions and the artist submission process.

We will also share critical information about the Toledo Lucas County Rescue Plan Grant for Individual Artists, which opens for applications on February 17.

Heyooo! Announcement time! 🎉

We are excited to welcome & friends to host the Toledo premiere of his newest skateboarding film INTER/STATE 🙌 the film features a collection of seriously sick footage from a ton of killer skaters in the area!

Hello! What’s going on everybody? ✨ After some time off at the gallery for the holidays, we are ready to get back to business! We know we’re late 😅 but WOW, 2024 was such a memorable year, we want to thank everyone who supported our endeavors & made it so awesome, yet again. We are excited to bring forth some great exhibitions and other community-driven events in 2025. Stay tuned for announcements about our next upcoming events!

I've had this dream to bring a mural and arts festival to Toledo for a long time. We started to plan one right before COVID hit, and those plans quickly got put on hold. Year after year passed, and finally, just a few months ago, I decided we had to try and make it happen this year or we never will. With only 3.5 months of planning and a shoestring budget, I think we pulled off something incredibly magical. We brought together over 60 artists, painting dozens of new murals, and most importantly, you, the community, showed up and supported us!

It's been such a stressful, wild, and crazy journey bringing this vision to life, but on Saturday watching everyone come together and appreciate and enjoy all the hard work and effort that went into building this, well, it was all worth it! I can't thank everyone who helped out enough. It truly takes a village, and I'm so grateful for all of you! Without love in the dream, it will never come true, and I truly believe that with pure intentions and hard work, anything is possible. Don't you dare be afraid to dream!
