The weather is going to be great. No rain, temperatures in the 70s.

Come hang out, show your car, or you can make passes down the track. If you want to jump into some competition. We have a class you can fit in. Everything from grudge racing, index racing, bracket racing or just seeing how fast your car is in a quarter mile.
Gates open at 9am.

Bring some extra money to help kids going to school beyond high school by donating to the Ray Romito scholarship fund.

ATTENTION IN THE PITS - RESCHEDULED RACE. WE KNOW IT HAS SEPTEMBER ON THE FLIER. THE RESCHEDULED DATE IS OCTOBER 11TH

We will be adding a box bracket race on our October 11th race date.

Entry will be the same as our other classes, except 5.30.

Box class- $50 entry plus tech card.
Pay tech card at the gate. Enter the race at the Second City Hustlers tent.

PSA: directions to US41 Dragstrip from the north that doesn't take you through northwest Indiana. Or directly through the city of Chicago.
I live in the south suburbs and this is the way I take.
It's not narrow farm roads, it's more of a truck route.
For starters, 294 toll road now connects to l-57. So I will start from there.
Whether you come down l-94, l-90, l-80, get to l-57 south.
Take 57 south to Peotone Rd.
Turn left at the end of the ramp and go east to Drecksler Rd.
Turn right on Drecksler and go south to County Line I'd.
Turn left on County Line and go east to Rt.1
Turn right on Rt.1 and go south. Rt.1 will curve to the left passed the Loves travel stop and turn into Rt.2.
This will take you to Indiana US41. Turn south and this will take you to the track.
I prefer this way because the motorhome we take to the track is a little big for the farm roads that the GPS wants me to go. And this way is only a minute or two longer.

I hope this will give the people coming from the north and west a way to get to US41 Dragstrip that is less stressful. This track is the longest track with the smoothest surface in the Chicago area.

Unfortunately our event for tomorrow has to be postponed to our October 11th date. Instead of going to the track tomorrow.
We will be going to Jamos Live in Mokena, Illinois from 1130 am until?
Bench racing and reminiscing will be happening. All are welcome.
The Romito family will be in attendance.
