BUDGET . yep i said it . i know ya feel me insta world

when we moved back to our little we did quite a few things to show it some TLC after our former renters had treated it less than kindly . i remember walking through after they had left and tears came to my eyes . my little house had not been loved and it made me sad

we worked hard and brought it back to its all while using only money we had . of course i has ideas galore, but with new lighting, painting and a few other things happening it really maxed out what we could do at the time . Dave Ramsey and my girl Rachel Cruze would be so dang proud

we did projects within certain ranges of what we could afford vs all the fancier design plans . i am pretty good at making a dollar stretch and turning shoe string on its ear and when push comes to shove i have the design chops to make it happen . though if someone gave me $30,000 for a new kitchen I’m not saying i wouldn’t take it

we have now come to a point where i can plan a few new design projects for our home . a bedroom, basement, breezeway, bathroom, entry and kitchen are all on the agenda . some of those rooms got attention before but are still in need of my finishing touch

so i am making plans for this kitchen which as you can see has already had some of my design executed . can you guess what is coming next to this sweet little space? comment below with your guess

car issues today so the two things I had planned are off the table at the moment until my car can be fixed (hopefully today!) . that said I have a little time to share with you so here I am! 😊


did you know wallpaper has been making a HUGE comeback over the last few years . my bff Joanna Gaines even has a line out that I am lusting over! (I have a few favs selected that might go in our home!). who wants to see?

until then check out this one (not from Joanna) that I am considering for a walk in my office . I am making that room over into a zen space where I can do business, workout, do yoga and just feel creative . what do ya think?

thank you all so much for being here and for liking my page . I sincerely appreciate your support of my new venture!


looks like my FIRST project will be a nautical inspired kids room . we will be looking at repurposing items and keeping a tight budget - I am up for the challenge!


in addition our spare room (aka my office and workout space) will also be on the agenda and will be getting made over soon as it is the last room in the house to really have some love . the light fixture and some furniture is in but it needs serious HELP!

and...my studio storefront is getting made over as well - yep I am gonna be a busy lady!
