This week reminded me that art is really just stories we leave behind.

After listening to artists share their journeys, I came home inspired to create. This banner was painted for a room full of love, laughter, and people excited to meet someone they’ve never met before.

The ballpark is where I spend most of my days ⚾🎨

As a kid, this field was one of my favorite places to be. It holds a lot of my favorite memories. Now, as a mom with kids in youth sports in this league & the softball league-A coach in both leagues. I personally know how much of your heart goes into these teams & children, this one means more than I can put into words 💜
I asked if I could donate a banner, knowing this would be such a special weekend and wanting to create something meaningful that represents both the past and present of the league.
Celebrating 75 years, honoring the volunteers who built this program (past and present), and a ribbon cutting to mark the future.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible, from the start of the league to present day.

Thank you to every volunteer who gives their time for free. Their knowledge for fun. And their hearts to a great community of kiddos.

Getting to hear my sister-in-law Kaitlin sing the national anthem made it even more special 🇺🇸

A few little life + business updates from Bush & Brush 🌿🎨

Right before I left for vacation, I wrapped up this nursery wall and I’m still not over it. This one took me about 24 hours start to finish, and then I literally packed up and hopped on a plane for my first girls trip ✈️💛

I zoomed in on each of the larger icons because the details deserved their moment. I even added in Bowe, the family puppy who’s already excited for his little brother to arrive ❤️ Each symbol was chosen by Mom & Dad, and while the design itself took a few hours, it’s really the meaning behind each piece that makes it so special.

I’ve been back and playing catch-up ever since—balancing orders, events, and all the day-to-day in between. (Also yes… that’s me soaking up the sunshine *and* the art in Cali ☀️🎨)

With that being said, this month and next are VERY limited. I’m only taking on a few more orders with everything going on. If you’re already on my calendar—you’re all set!

If you’re looking to book for later June into summer, I highly recommend reaching out now to secure your spot. As I am not taking any more orders until after the first week of June.

And please, if there are any changes to your original theme, let me know as early as possible. I often spend hours on designs, and last-minute changes can be tough to fit in with my current schedule.

As always, I’m so grateful for the continued support. You guys keep me busy in the best way 🤍
