A little banner dump because last week was BUSY. 😅🎨

Senior soccer night, Wildest One in the West, a Nerf gun, a Dukes of Hazzard banner, and Kyla’s birthday banner. Whew!

What you don’t see in these pictures is that I spent the week pushing through some pretty intense pain. I finally broke down and saw a doctor, only to find out I have a rib cartilage injury, torn intercostal muscles, and a sciatica flare-up shooting pain down my left side. 🫠

Did I keep painting? You bet. Did I question my life choices while doing it? Just a little. 😂

A HUGE thank you to all my customers for being so understanding and patient with me, especially toward the end of the week when things got a little harder. Your kindness means more than you know! ❤️

Apparently, I can add “painting through a plot twist” to my résumé. 😂🎨

If you know me, you know fall is my HAPPY place. 🍂 The colors, the cozy vibes, everything about this time of year makes me want to paint.

And the whole time I was working on these windows, Colors of the Wind from my childhood was playing on repeat in my head. 😂🎨 Honestly, if that doesn’t tell you how much I love fall colors, I don’t know what does!

My first FULL set of fall windows for Bush & Brush is done, and I had a SPOOKY blast with these! The shop owner wanted more fall vibes to carry into Thanksgiving, so little Miss Ghosty made her debut on one window… but that window will be getting a little holiday makeover after Halloween.

I completely scrapped my original idea for the last two windows and went in a totally different direction, but I’m SO happy with how they turned out!

Now I’ll be recovering under a heating pad. 🤣

“Purple and white, read and write.” 💜🤍 Some things just stick with you.

Spirit Week was such a huge part of my experience at Ticonderoga Central School. I remember the excitement, the hallway decorations, the chants, and how much fun my friends and I had. Now, years later, I get to watch my own kids experience that same tradition from the other side.

For the second year in a row, I’ve been honored to donate a banner for the twins’ hallway. The whole class and their amazing class leader, Dawn, did an incredible job, and the hallway looks AMAZING!

There’s so much that goes into making Spirit Week the experience it is—the teachers, staff, and students who put so much time, creativity, and energy into it. I’m just really honored that I get to play a small part in it now. 💜🤍

POV: You asked for a custom banner and now your entire existence is just hand-painted memories. 🤣 Send help (or more paint)! What should I paint next?
