We want to be clear: The City of Thibodaux will continue to provide their amazing fireworks display at 9 pm. Peltier Park will still be open all day for families to spend the day. We have canceled the festival only, which is the music, food, vendors and opening ceremony. We did not make this decision lightly, but few people attended the events during the day, only coming out to watch the fireworks then go home. You are all still absolutely invited to do that.

After much consideration, the decision has been made to discontinue the Let Freedom Ring Festival in Thibodaux due to falling attendance.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported the festival over the years — our volunteers, sponsors, vendors, entertainers, and the families and community members who joined us in celebrating together each year. Your support, participation, and memories made the festival truly special.

While this chapter is coming to a close, we will always cherish the spirit of community, patriotism, and fellowship that the Let Freedom Ring Festival represented. Thank you for being part of the journey and helping make it meaningful for so many. Peltier Park will still be open as usual for your family to spend the day and the amazing evening fireworks will continue. ❤️🤍💙
