Just made the sign I am putting up for tonight’s meetup!
Rain or shine I’m planning on being there, I have a canopy I can set up if it looks like we will get any heavy rain but I’m thinking we should be fine.
For in-depth directions see our previous post. Remember that there is no service in Grover Park so plan accordingly. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Don't forget about next week's Star Valley Art Club Plein Air Picnic!

We're looking forward to spending an evening making art together outdoors! Whether you've been to every meetup or this would be your first one, everyone is welcome. Bring any art supplies you'd like to use, and if you'd like, a snack or dish to share (completely optional).

Getting There:
Cell service is very limited (or nonexistent), so if you have any questions about the event or directions, please text me beforehand (my number is on the flyer).

The address doesn't always come up correctly in maps, so here's the easiest way to find us:

• Drive through Turnerville and continue into Grover Park.
• You'll know you've arrived when you cross the cattle guard and see the Grover Park sign (pictured below).
• Take the first right onto the dirt road (see the second photo).
• Continue to the parking area shown in the third photo. If possible, please park at an angle to help us fit more vehicles. If that area fills up, parking along the main road is also fine.

I'll have a sign on the main road to help you find the turn.

You may want to bring bug spray!

Thank you to everyone who came out to June’s meet up! The night was filled with delicious food, great conversation, and some fun glass artwork.
Big thanks to Judy and Pete for hosting and providing a glass craft that we could experiment with! What a fun night.
Keep an eye out for July’s activity and I hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful summer in the valley! ☀️☀️☀️

Hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful summer in the valley!

Just a reminder that we have our June art club meet up tomorrow evening. It will be a fun night, bring food to share and a project you are working on! Thanks to Judy Kwong for hosting this month’s meetup!!

Judy will put a sign outside that will indicate where to park. Google Maps sometimes takes you up to their house but you park on the lower side by the barn. Make sure to park as efficiently as possible as there is limited space!

This is a great monthly event for anyone interested! All skill levels are welcome

Our next Figure Drawing Session is on June 3rd!

All ages and skill levels are welcome to attend our monthly figure drawing sessions. These will be held on the first Wednesday of each month, from 7:00pm-9:00pm, at the Etna Community Center

Cost is only $10 per person.

While walk-ins are absolutely welcome, registering on our website does help us in our preparations.

All information, recommended supplies, registration forms, model interest forms, etc, can all be found on our website at www.starvalleyarts.org/figuredrawing.

We had such a good time at our May meetup last night, thanks to everyone who came! We had so much fun the we even planned out June’s meetup, so be on the lookout for the flyer I’ll be posting soon.
Also, huge thanks to Jesse at Little Pine Art House for opening her doors and hosting May’s event. If you haven’t yet, you should follow her page because she will be continually offering art classes and events for both children and adults and her space is so welcoming and fun for anyone looking to be creative!
