This footage is believed to have been recorded on April 9, 2013, at approximately 02:24 AM inside a remote village house during a late-night exorcism, captured using a handheld mobile phone camera.
The recording appears in low-resolution format with heavy compression artifacts, strong motion blur, unstable exposure, and frequent focus hunting typical of phone cameras operating in low-light conditions. The only light source is a single weak yellow bulb, creating uneven shadows and a dim, unsettling atmosphere throughout the room.
Inside the house, several family members are gathered around a seated woman as they quietly recite prayers. The woman remains completely still in a rigid posture, showing no visible reaction or movement. The group appears focused on the ritual, and no one breaks attention at the beginning of the recording.
For several minutes, the environment remains stable. Only minor camera shake, flickering light, and ambient recording noise are visible.
During a sudden audio distortion, the camera captures an unusual visual anomaly: the shadow of the seated woman on the wall appears to move independently, lifting and shifting position several seconds before any corresponding movement from her body. The effect is brief but noticeable in the shadow’s unnatural timing and separation from the subject.
None of the individuals in the room appear to notice the irregularity. The recitation continues without interruption or reaction.
Immediately afterward, the camera briefly loses focus due to a sudden exposure shift. The entire scene becomes blurred and unstable for a moment.
When focus returns, the shadow is once again aligned normally with the woman’s body, showing no further irregular movement. The woman remains seated and motionless, and the group continues the prayers as before.
The cause of the shadow movement remains unverified within the recording and may be attributed to exposure fluctuation, compression artifacts, or light distortion caused by unstable camera focus in low-light conditions.
