We sadly announce the passing of our friend, theater colleague and CPI playwright, director and actor extraordinaire, Charlie Goetz. A grave site service will be held TODAY, June 10th at 2 p.m. at the Gate of Heaven chapel on 11000 Montgomery Road, 45249 with a reception to follow at 4 p.m. at Creekside Condominium clubhouse at 7234 Creekview Drive 45247. Congrats to CPI playwright, Angela Klocke Forbes, whose 2 short plays, "Mind over Magic" and "Unpacked" will be performed June 19th and 20th at 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 21st at 2 p.m. at Village Players of Fort Thomas! Tickets are available online and at the door!

Congrats to CPI playwright, Teri Foltz, whose short play "Cliff" was recently selected along with 5 other short plays to be performed at Theatre Southwest as part of its 29th annual Festival of Originals on July 24- August 8. So proud of you, Teri!

Congrats to CPI playwright, Fred Rothzeid, whose play "Enemy of the Good" will be performed at the Evendale Bell Tower Pavilion by Cincinnati Lab Theatre's New Works Fesitval this summer! Tickets go on sale June 15th for $20 each. So proud of you, Fred!

Spring is here so get your laptop out on the deck, porch, yard hammock, wherever you can get creative and write a play to submit to CPI for our 2026/2027 season.

We want to see your NEW WORK and are accepting One Act, Full-Length or a Series of Short Plays that make up a 90-minute block of theater.

All plays must be previously non-published or not had a staged production but we will accept those which may have had a cold or staged reading elsewhere.
