The day before homecoming, a mom posted in a group desperately looking for help. She had ordered and paid for her daughter’s senior mum from someone else, but with less than 24 hours until homecoming, there was no mum in sight.
She lived over an hour away from me, but I told her if she could make the drive to pick it up, I would make her daughter a senior mum completely free of charge.
Several times throughout the season, I try to find opportunities to give back, and this was one of those moments I knew I could make a difference.
I started this mum at 11:00 that morning, and by 9:00 that night, this sweet girl and her mom had the senior mum they had been dreaming of!
And when I say no corners were cut, I mean it. Every detail, every ribbon, every braid, every embellishment received the same time, care, and attention I put into any of my custom creations. In fact, I went above what I had initially planned.
Because an act of kindness should never mean compromising on quality.
Senior year only happens once, and I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to make sure this girl got to celebrate hers with a mum she absolutely loved.
