Today I packed up and closed the door on my temporary studio space. I don’t have the words to properly thank the Cannon family - they generously opened their home to me and my students for the past year and a half while we rebuilt our house. My gratitude is overwhelming - they single handedly saved my business and studio. Thank you Al and Cindy! I am forever indebted. And now - back to the home studio we go! See you in Taylors! 🏠

Auditions for Rumors, Ain’t Too Proud, and Mean Girls are happening at Centre Stage on April 18 & 19, and registration opens March 30 at noon.

Auditions are open to performers 16+, with video submissions accepted for anyone who can’t attend in person.

I am beaming with pride for all of my students who represented Made for the Stage and SC at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Mid-Atlantic regionals competition, you’re all so talented and have done beautiful work this year! Big congrats to my dynamic duo twin students Madeleine and Charlotte who both took first place top honors in their respective categories and qualified for Nationals - go Gaineys!

Congratulations to our amazing students who competed in the SC NATS competition for musical theatre and commercial music - all 11 competitors qualified for regionals! Big congrats to Charlotte Gainey who placed first for Children’s MT, Emma Gainey who placed first in her youth MT category, Claire Ginn who placed first in HS Commercial Music, Nina Warren who placed first in HS Musical Theatre, Madeleine Gainey who placed third in Children's Commercial Music, Caroline Myers and Ariana Beauvais who placed Third in their commercial categories and Isabelle Seward who placed third in her college MT category. I’m so proud of you all for your beautiful work! 🏆

I’ll be in the middle of my virtual MTC class when these start tonight but very excited to cheer on my amazing students! I Had 12 competitors this year and all did wonderful work. 🩵
