EVA UNDER FIRE BRINGS SPARKS TO FIREWORKS NIGHT: Eva Under Fire brought its red-hot alternate metal/hard rock/post grunge style to the stage to the delight of the crowd during Saturday night’s performance at the 2026 Taylor Summer Festival. Led by the steamy voice of Taylor’s own Amanda Lyberg (aka Eva Marie), this group has been tearing it up over the past couple of years after being named as one of the "Artists to Watch" in 2023 by Pandora Radio. Their song "Blow" was ranked No. 11 on Mainstream Rock Airplay and No. 33 on Rock & Alternative Airplay. Their album Love, Drugs & Misery came in at No. 99 on Top Current Album Sales. Eva is joined onstage by band members Rob Lyberg (lead guitar), Chris Slapnik (rhythm guitar), Ed Gawlik (bass) and Dave Miller II (drums).

DAVE FIO IS IN THE HOUSE: Taylor’s own Dave Fio was first on the stage during the rock concert on Saturday, June 27, in the Sheridan Center Open Air Pavilion. Fio was originally discovered during Season 22 of American Idol. He auditioned in Nashville and sang “Save Me” by Jelly Roll. Since that time, he’s remained active by playing the summer festival last year and even sang the national anthem at a Detroit Tigers game and Red Wings game within the last year. He’s always a hit with Taylor fans.

CONGRATULATIONS HALEY! Haley Simpson, a long-time fan of Amanda Lyberg, the lead singer for Eva Under Fire, brought her whole bachelorette party to the Taylor Summer Festival on Saturday, June 27. We had a little surprise for Haley and the gang and took them backstage during the band’s meet-and-greet event. When Haley and her beau started dating, one of their first excursions was an Eva Under Fire concert. She’s been a big fan ever since. Eva Under Fire is one of the top local bands in the Detroit area and rocked the festival on fireworks night. Amanda, the band and the City of Taylor congratulate Haley and wish her success in the future. (Note: This album contains the rest of the EUF meet and greet photographs.)
