Next week I will teach a new workshop, Reptile-Inspired Designs for Inkle Weavers. We'll be using my original designs including snakes, lizards and turtles. Thanks to my local shop, Fiber Arts on 4th, for hosting all of my workshops!

Thanks to all you well-wishers! I sold half of my inventory yesterday at the show, hitting my goal exactly! And I completed the strap on my loom, which will forever be infused with good music vibes! You can hear the live music in the background as I weave.
The music and company was great!

I hit my goal of having 20 guitar 🎸 straps ready for the show tomorrow! Please wish me luck on hitting my sales goal. Rio Bravo Brewing, Albuquerque. May 31st. 11am to 6 pm. Free live music and local vendors selling guitars and accessories.

While I am weaving on the floor in my living room, I am watching Rebecca Mezoff on Patreon showing some of her tapestry sketches. So inspiring!! I wonder how I can use her design approach for inkle bands. This ties in with my woven landscapes in an interesting way! Thanks, Rebecca!

Members of my guild in Albuquerque will be showing and selling their handmade goods at this pop-up show June 4th-7th. Although I will not be selling, I will be giving a demo on June 4th from 10:30 to 11:00.

This color combination was inspired by art on the side of an Albuquerque bus last week. The main color is a dark olive. There are 7 colors in total.

I warped up this custom guitar strap today. I am loving how the thin line of bougainvillea looks between the wine and turquoise lines.
I wrote about using thin lines of color this way in my book, In Celebration of Plain Weave: Color and Design Inspiration for Inkle Weavers.

It's been at least 15 years since I've been to a Rendezvous, but I am looking forward to this one in Taos in June!

I'm trying something new just in case it can help keep me out of PT for shoulder issues. Yesterday, my friend, Jennifer, spent all day helping me wind a warp and put it on her Saori loom. Big learning curve for me! I brought it home to my weaving room. I'll let you know how it goes.
