The last few weeks have been a bit heavy, with last week being by far the worst.

My home country, Venezuela, was rocked by two earthquakes, back to back. With subsequent shakes occurring on the following days. There are hundreds gone, thousands missing, and so much more to still dig up.

Thankfully, my family in Venezuela is doing ok, but my heart breaks for all those who weren't as lucky.

My wife and I bought medicines, some personal hygiene items, and dog and cat food, as we figured most people would be covering clothes and food. We also volunteered at one of the local drop off centers in Tampa to help pack the trucks headed to Miami before flying to Venezuela.

Please consider donating or volunteering at one of these drop off locations. Anything helps.

This past weekend I had the honor of writing poems at a wedding reception, and it was a lovely experience 💜

I wrote this poem for the gorgeous couple who shared their love story with me.

They left me speechless with their cute story, which is not something that happens often!

I hope to continue being blessed with these opportunities 💜

I wrote this poem back in 2021, around the time I started getting ready to do markets and events again from the 2020 hiatus (wonder why?🙃).

It's nice to look back and see how much some things have changed, and how others remain relentless.

Looking forward to digging through my phone's library and finding more lost and hidden gems.

Summer is coming, Florida is heating up, and that means less markets during the next few months!

But you can still find me in a handful of events each month!

Had an amazing weekend writing so many poems, talking with so many strangers and making connections!💜
