Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon

Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon The Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon is an annual youth event, for boys and girls ages 6-14, that allows participants to swim, bike & run at Adventure Island!

The Event Development Institute (EDI), in conjunction with Adventure Island® and the Tampa Bay Sports Commission (TBSC), are proud to present the Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon (TBKT)! The TBKT offers participants the opportunity to swim, bike and run in and around Busch Gardens’® premier water park, Adventure Island. Boys and girls ages 6-10 (junior varsity division) and 11-14 (varsity division) are el

igible to participate. The first 400 registrations will receive a complimentary, race-day ‘Stay and Play’ ticket to Adventure Island. Participants will receive a race-day ‘Swag Bag’, including an Under Armour T-shirt. All competitors will be awarded a finisher’s medal upon completion of the race and the top three finishers in each category will earn a trophy along with an additional Adventure Island ‘Stay and Play’ ticket. Registration, entry fees, course maps, athlete guide, parking directions and other critical information can be found on the event website, TampaBayKidsTriathlon.com. Located across the street from Busch Gardens, Adventure Island is 30 acres of water-drenched fun offering excitement for guests of all ages. Our biggest Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon yet! Huge thank you to all of the athletes, families, volunteers, sponsors, and partners who made the 12th annual event such an unforgettable day at . From the excitement at the starting line to the smiles all morning long, today was special.

We’re so grateful for everyone who came out to support Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance and help make this event bigger and better every year. Already counting down to next year!

We’re excited to team up again with Oliver’s Cycle Sports as the official Bike Tech of the Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon. They’ll be on site at Packet Pick Up and on Race Day offering free safety checks to make sure everything is good to go. Be sure to swing by and get your bike dialed in before the race.
