Made a few small altar brooms ( or whatever small space that needs sweeping)today. They’re so cute!

This broom made herself. And I know she has a person waiting for her out there. If I were making this with what pleases my eye, she would’ve been mostly black with a little bit of pink here or there with black thread and probably my regular hawk’s tail pattern. But she wanted more pink; she wanted silver thread, and (I’ve not seen this before in others’ brooms which isn’t to say it’s not out there, just that I’ve not seen it) the wraps are like a tornado. I used to dream of tornadoes often, and if memory serves me, that can be representative of fear of change or transitions. Everything in this broom is saying, “Don’t be afraid. Say yes to change. You are safe and protected.”. From the silver twine to the Mookaite in star form to the color pink, she’s telling you to move forward with love. Say hello to Aunt Meg (bonus points if you get the reference).

I am adding a BENEFIT SHAWL this month to help raise funds for those in need that have been impacted by the wildfires affecting the Spokane, WA area and vicinity.

The Iron Circle Collective. is a non profit organization. They are currently raising funds to help families, animals, Indigenous Tribes, and firefighters who have been affected and lost so much these last few days. Please take a look at their page and website to see the mission of this organization. A friend (Feathered Familiars from whom I stole most of this post) was working as an admin at the Modrite fire camp just one week ago. When she left that fire it was less than 10,000 acres. It is now over 50,000 acres. 😢
