(Donations are appreciated) ALL ages welcome! QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q: Is it really scary? A: Its a Haunted House! We don't push guests through in a continuous line. Our small, intimate groups isolate the guests and prevent them from knowing what to expect around the corner by seeing the reactions of other people ahead in the line... and we have LOTS of corners and frights behind them! Q:

Are kids allowed? Although we do recommend adult supervision. We are not responsible for lost children. Q: Are Halloween costumes allowed? A: YES. It is already quite dark, so anything that can obstruct your view could be problematic for you. Surgical and medical masks are recommended per Leon County Mandate. Q: Are you open year round? A: NO, because of the amount of volunteers required to maintain the best performance, the haunt is only open one night in October. Q: If I have epilepsy or Asthma, should I come? A: If artificial fog or strobe lights cause you problems, then please do NOT come, because both are used. Special needs can be addressed with entrance volunteers. Q: If I'm pregnant or have a heart condition, should I come? A: NO. It would be reckless to subject yourself to extreme frights if you have either of those conditions. Please play it safe and avoid coming, as much as we would otherwise appreciate your patronage. Q: Is it wheelchair accessible? A: Do to this being outdoors, navigation of a wheelchair could be challenging and some corners or hallways could be tight. Q: Are cell phones, their lights, or flash lights allowed? A: NO, they are not. If used inside, they will be confiscated. Q: Are lighters, matches, or smoking allowed? A: No open flames of any sort are ever allowed. No ci******es or electronic smoking (va**ng) are allowed inside. These too, could be confiscated by security. Q: Will I be touched? Actors will maintain a safe distance away so that you will not be touched, grabbed or hit. You must never grab or strike anyone else. (Violators will be prosecuted.) Q: If I'm waiting in line before closing time, will I be turned away when closing occurs? A: We try to finish everyone in line regardless how late it gets. We will tell newcomers that arrive after closing times, that the line is "closed out"-- but those already waiting will still get in. Q: Are video or photo cameras allowed? A: NO, they are not! It ruins the dark atmosphere and the spirits don't like it. However, if you are like most people, you won't need a camera. The actors will make it difficult to ever forget what you've seen or heard! Q: Is there free parking? A: Yes! Parking along Summit Rd. Please pull to the side to not impede traffic. Please keep off of others private property. Summit Rd is a short, dead end, with plenty of room to turn around at the end of the road. Please go around the tree. Q: Is it worth it? A: Heck yeah! Considering our 3000 square foot build and the time we invest on each room & group. We have 35-40 Volunteers dedicated to making your night memorable. Plus FREE ADMISSION! But don’t forget to leave us a donation. That’s how we know our guests enjoy what we do. All donations are used to assist the less fortunate in our community during the holidays. Q: Can I join The Smith Haunted House team? A: Maybe, if you think you can take it! Please “like” our page & watch for our volunteer roll call in August. Q: Do you have any (insert your greatest phobia here)? A: Unfortunately for you-- YES, we do. Whether it's rats, spiders, snakes, clowns, ghosts, doctors, the dark or whatever else people are most afraid of, chances are that we have it and you're gonna have to face it to make it through. It may seem cruel, but what can we say? We want to hear you scream!
