Come to the Bob Day Festival in Talent, Oregon
First started in 1995, Bob Day only happened for three years until it got too big for the available volunteers to handle.
If you are a Bob or Robert, Roberta, Roberto, Bobby, Bobbi, Beto, Robin, Robynne or any of the multitude variations of Bob, OR if your middle or last name is one of those variations, Bob Day is for YOU! If you are friends or relatives with a Bob, Bob Day is for YOU!! If you would like to meet a Bob, Bob Day is for you too.
Talent Historical Society is bringing "Bob Day In Talent" back so we can once again honor the world's Bobs.
SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:
10:00 a.m. Welcome and Bob Day Proclamation by Mayor Darby Ayers-Flood on Commons Area Stage
10:10 a.m. Honoring Judie Bunch & Chris Desmit (originators of Bob Day)
10:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. On the Commons - Vendors along with children's games and activities.
On the Commons Stage -
10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Music by Wayside View (Band)
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Council of Bob's
12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Assembly of Bobs photo and the Bob Cheer.
12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. DJ Willow McBob (Bob Tunes)
10:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. In the Museum – Sign up to be recognized as the youngest or oldest Bob in attendance; Bob Day History display; Name Those Bobs Game; Take A Picture With Bob (featuring Bob Ross, Bob Dylan and Bob The I-5 Llama); Bobtiques Roadshow and What Is My Thingamabob featuring Bob Russell where you can get your antique or thingamabob identified and valued.

Local restaurants and businesses will be offering Bob Day displays and specials.

• Biscuits & Vinyl Record Store featuring a Bob Music display.

• Morrton's Too Pizza Sport's Bar offering a Bourbon Or Beer Special.
• Ceremony: Bench & Larder offering Babkas (Bobkas).
• Naumes Suncrest Winery offering a Barbera (Bobera) wine.
• Sultan's Delight offering Kabob sandwiches.
• Talent Beauty Spot - Renee Nelson (offering Bob Hair Cuts)

Are you a Bob who has mentally stored all the wisdom wizzed in your lifetime?
Are you eager to share that wisdom with those who seek it?
We want you to be part of The Council of Bobs for Bob Day in Talent, Oregon on July 19th.
For your efforts to share that wisdom, you will receive a free t-shirt explaining your wise ways, along with the adoration of the multitudes of course!
You will help raise much needed funds for the ongoing restoration work at Talent's Historic Town Hall and be recorded in history as a truly great and wise Talentian. (although you don't have to live in Talent to be considered for this Council)
To qualify, your first, middle or last name should be Bob, Bobb, Robert, Roberto, Roberta, Bobby, Bobbie, Robbie, Robby, Robin, Robyne, Beto or one of the multitude of names that could have Bob as a nickname. Six to nine talented individuals are being sought for this event, so far two have been found. Could you be the next one?
The obligation you would be making is to be available for one to two hours mid-day on Saturday, July 19th, here in Talent. We also plan to have a short organizational meeting on the Friday evening before where you will receive your t-shirts for the next day.
