The story of how I came up with this idea happened 11 years ago. Around the time my older brother passed away alone in a trailer that caught fire overnight, we found a deceased owl near our property. In Native American culture, owls are associated with leading souls to the afterlife. As both him and I were/are Cherokee, I thought it only fitting to include an owl.
