The City's Events and Recognitions Committee is pleased to present the 2026 City of Destiny Award in the Youth Service category to Chelsea McElroy. Chelsea is the founder of Vision Step Team, a free youth program that provides mentorship, leadership development, and a safe, supportive environment for young girls in Tacoma. Through her work, she has empowered youth, strengthened families, and created lasting opportunities for personal growth and community connection.
